Camp Life

To get some more ideas for our shoot I continued to look at ideas about camping and the kind of clothing that can be introduced to combine the ideas of fashion, learning to dress, and camping all in one. I found these images on a blog and I think the combination of each double page spread of the models and what their wearing, teamed with the campsite and the location they would be in works really well. It made me think about the idea of including some still lifes in our shoot. If we create a location that looks authentic and interesting it could really help to reinforce our concept.

I particularly like the image of the girl wrapped in a blanket as a styling idea and plan on nabbing some old fashioned checked picnic blankets from my parents when I go home for Easter.

As big campers my family also have a garage full of tents and various camping appliances and equipment. I have a small old fashioned triangle tent in mind that I think will work really well for our shoot rather than a more modern pop up tent.

Norman Wedge Tent

An old fashioned tent like this one would be perfect.
